Very earliest moments

As cosmologists try to go even further to understand the beginning of the universe itself, our ideas become less fi rm. Einstein’s general theory of relativity has provided the theoretical foundation for a century of progress in our understanding of the evolution of the universe. Yet it is inconsistent with the other pillar of contemporary physics, quantum theory , and the discipline’s greatest challenge is to reconcile the two. Only with such a unifi ed theory will we be able to address the very earliest moments of the universe, the so called Planck era prior to about 10–43 second, when spacetime itself was taking shape.

Tentative attempts at a unifi ed theory have led to some remarkable speculations about our very beginnings. String theory, for example, predicts the existence of additional dimensions of space and possibly other universes fl oating in that larger space. What we call the big bang may have been the collision of our universe with another The marriage of string theory with the concept of infl ation has led perhaps to the boldest idea yet, that of a multiverse namely, that the universe comprises an infi nite number of disconnected pieces, each with its own local laws of physics.

Personal intergrity

I must acknowledge truth to having a feeling of anxiety that I believe I share with many fathers. I fear that I will some day be without importance to my children. It’s not as although they’ll thoroughly forget who I am and it’s that what I stand for and what I accept as true in won’t be a important part of their lives. Approximately popular arts collectively will take over or perhaps they just won’t be concerned. The fear is there because it’s so significance to me that my children have a involving right compass to live by, and that they have a value system that personal intergrity and respects others.

So what are daddy’s to do? We live in an more and more complex society and the response to question to our children’s questions are neither easy nor easy and not elaborate. Many of these questions may be hard to answer and may show your kids that opinion about what’s correct and wrong are not always very clear. What daddy’s can do is to want and hope that things turn out for your children or you can have the quality of being brave to make going past on your values an emphasis priority in your family, so you can compete to yourself to pass on love, belief or trust, courage, freely the eternal truths that will have means for your children for stage in descent to come.
